The short story...
I am Swedish, live in Japan with my family and I work as a coach for Ustwo.
A longer version...
My life has given me exposure to multiple cultures, people from various walks of life and job roles rom business, design, product strategy and coaching.
I grew up in small towns in Sweden, which gave connection to nature and community. Through university and early working life, I lived and travelled quite a bit. Mostly in Asia, particularly Japan, but also across Europe and parts of North America.
In retrospect, this has given me a way to observe and pay attention to the world with a multifaceted perspective. I build upon that in creativity and coaching.
Today, I work as a coach for Ustwo, helping companies, teams and individuals grow and achieve extraordinary outcomes together. I live with my wife and 2 year old daughter (who constantly challenges my ways of seeing the world) in Japan.
Japan has been a big part of my life. It is not so much the superficial cultural beauty of Japan that brings me here, but rather the fascination with a natural and cultural legacy in constant conflict with a modern, yet conservative, country of paradoxes that inspires me.
Throughout my life, if anything I have been curious about too many things, evolved from working in business, to interaction design, product strategy, and more recently coaching.
The common theme through my work though has circled around bringing human potential, particularly through technology, and more recently how to enable people to achieve extraordinary things (with or without technology).
Perhaps as a result of becoming a parent, and observing the world, I have also become gradually more concerned with our waste of resources and human potential, in a world increasingly focused on excess, distraction, superficiality and a strong disconnect from nature and each other.
